Soccer Day!

Howdy, gals and guys!

Now it is time for the Soccer Season! Parker is playing with the Torquiose Team called 'Blue Giants' for Sandy City Soccer League. He was having a blast! I know that his team won, but what the score was, I do not know. He scored one goal! Way to go, Parker!

Just enjoy the pics I included from the soccer field, you would see Parker in his uniform, playing and us (Luke, Nick and I) watching him from the side). Interesting pic of me as Nick helped me taking pic of myself, I do not know how that came to it? Interesting huh?

Have a wonderful weekend! It sure will be cold, BRRRR! But, the Spring is almost here, patience!

Easter Bunny came.....

Howdy y'all?

Now, you see the pics of the Boys in their new outfits that Grandma and Grandpa got for them!

Aren't they so cute! and Big!!

We are doing well. Alot going on lately. Easter came and left. The boys had alot of fun finding Easter Eggs in our living rooms then finding their baskets. Parker is just mischevious, trying to eat as much as candy as he can, I had to take it away before we left for church. Now he just finished today. I pray he won't get another cavity!

Nick is still preparing for the play, rehearsing alot at home. Everytime he did the song 'In Harmony', I cried! It is so touching....interesting, even if I cannot hear the music but the words touch my heart! Really! He is so excited and cannot wait for the play to happen!

Lucas is getting big and big and learned how to have 'tantrum'!! Oh man! If he doesn't get what he want, usually he knows he needs to 'sign' to tell us what he wants, but yesterday and today, he gets really mad, really! Even he tried to hit me! Uggh? He will be 16 months old on Thursday! Unbelievable little guy!

I am doing much better. Alot better. Right now I have had alot of 'alone' time while Lucas is taking his nap and I have a free time, I am thinking about my health. Alot going on for me and my body. So I need to listen to my body. And work to lose weight, I know it is a long road, but it would be worth it when I get to the end!

Mike is really busy with work. He loves it even if he gets frustrated with work processing or numbers are not at where he wants it to be. I am so proud of him and he really enjoy working for ARUP Lab, Inc. We are truly blessed! Just a great start for us and get going for our family life and move on!

Have a wonderful day! Ciao!!

Spring Break is Here!

Wow! Spring Break is here, now that both boys are staying home from school (Nick and Parker). Whew.

Plus there's that March Madness going on (NCAA Basketball Tournament)! We just found out and disappointed that BYU lost! :(

But that's life. I am praying for "alot of upsets" in games like when it happened for the NCAA Football 'BCS' Tournament with quite a few upsets.

Luke loves being home now that his brothers are home and he has been following them all day and doing things with him even pretending playing video games! So cute!

The boys are handful, being hungry all day which I know that it is basically because they are 'bored', we have been watching movies all day especailly that new movie 'Enchanted', such a good enjoyable movie. I have been catching up on my books that I got from the library. Mike has been busy with his work and was relieved to be home and rest and watch the games as well! ;)

That's it for today... have a great day!

Sunday... a Mellow Day

A really mellow day for our family. Both Mike and I are not feeling well. I was still recovering from the surgery and a really killer headache. Mike got really bad cold without the cough. Oh well..

The boys are fine, Lucas stayed home with us while Nick and Parker went with Grandma to Church today. They told me that they had a good day at the Church. Learned alot in Primary.

Today is an odd day. Why? Because we have received a surprise 'weather' with snowing. It hit last night with at least 5 inches here at our home. This morning, there has been showers and snowing here and there. Right now, it just cleared up and ready for night-time. Mike and I will be watching the news and see what the weather would be like.

It's been odd because a while ago it was perfect weather for the day in March with a 50-plus degrees days and cool nights until recently the temperature dropped which eventualy causing our snowing weather.

That's life I guess.

Soon Mike and I will watch a new movie on ABC Family channel called Cutting Edge 3 ( I have the original movie, the 2nd one came on as tv movie and now there's a 3rd one coming on tv tonight. I am curious what it would be like or about...)

Nick is a great little guy for us. Helped us alot with Parker and Luke. He tries his best as a big brother to these two. He has been practicing alot with the songs for the upcoming rehearsal. It made me proud to watch him singing and performing.

The boys are now watching 'Muppet Treasure Island' movie that they borrowed from Grandma and Grandpa. Soon they will be in bed.

I better get going so I can watch what Kristie made as they had made a 'movie' at home last week. I am excited!

Good night and have a wonderful St Patrick's Day tomorrow!

Weekend Time!

Whew....now it is the Weekend time here! I am so tired... from alot of things such as recovery of surgery, cleaning house, keeping boys happy and watching movies....

Nick has been busy with the theatre rehearsals (only 5 more weeks for the performance to happen!). Parker just being himself and very energetic!! Lucas is learning from Parker! And also he is very mischevious! Mike just take it easy from working all day and try to rest when home. He is looking forward to tomorrow as it would be is off-day...

I cannot believe it is almsot here! The Spring Break and Easter! Good thing we got some stuff ready for Easter (candies and egg decorators! we got good deals at a Dollar Store!)

Better get going so I can go and take a nap with baby Lucas. Ciao!

Pictures.....

Arrgghh.. alot to experiment! I would have to call up my sister Katie to help me out with this! I am still learning. It is hard to try and figure out with pictures to included for all to see.. Only problem I have is that the sizes of pictures won't work with me by shrinking or whatever it was supposed to do.

I do not know why I kept typing Arrgghh... wierd.. I guess it is because of Nick. He is involved in the theatre play with Up with Kids program. It is both Pirates of the Caribbean and the Little Mermaid 'combined'. I guess this word 'Arrgghh' was from watching Nick practicing singing and reading his lines this morning and afternoon. I cannot wait to see his performance!

I better 'hang' up my hands and get ready for bed. Just being patience from the 'pain' of the aftermath of the D & C surgery. I am doing alright. Takes time....

Nite nite for now!

Not to have a cell phone or have a cell phone??

Decisions! Decisions!

Right now, Mike and I are discussing about our cell phones. Now, we have Sprint Treo (the 'original Palm Treo') which we love so much but it is getting so old, really.. it is old! Basically, it is falling apart. My phone's battery went wacko. I had to take it in to have it replaced, hopefully not my phone, just the battery (please...).... I will find out tomorrow....tho....

Since ya know that we are both deaf, there are plenty plenty and plenty of 'services' that they can offer for 'us' deafies ( :) ) ...(don't believe us? check this website www.sprintrelaystore.com ) ... really good deals in this! Mike very much wanted a Blackberry phone since we orginially had a Blackberry 'cell' phone which we traded for a Sprint Treo. For me, I do not care what kind of a phone I would get as long as I can 'text' others with it, fine with me. So... therefore the discussion happened. We went over the websites, etc. and found there's a neat phone that Sprint offer (as well thru the above's website - it is a 'buy one and get one free' so yay! a BOGO deal!).... it is called Rumor by LG. u know a cell phone like any cell phone, but has a 'secret' way to become like a computer, it comes with a Qwerty keyboard ( I think that what it is called..) which the phone slides (half) and there's a keyboard underneath, presto! the screen become like a computer screen, sort of really. I thought it was really cool and like i said BOGO! plus with the 'deafies' deal, it shouldnt cost us a thing to purchase one! I would have to research that more!

If ya know anything about this phone or know of any other phone, let us know! please!

That's it....mmmm should we have this BOGO deal or Not???

Good nite....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Parker, our 2nd Musketeer

Parker: I AM HUNGRY!! GGRRR!!

Annie - The Road to Recovery

Howdy guys, after reading what my hubby wrote (our first blog :) ) Yes, I am on the road to recovery. Still there..... after coming home after a short-day surgery yesterday, I was wacked out, slept all day and woke up at a good time to go bed at a good time. Whew. Boy! Was my body so drugged! Because when I woke up this morning, I didn't realized how painful it would be for me. I woke up at 430 this morning, oh yeah, 430 AM with a painful throat. It was from the tubes that they put in me to help me ' breathe '. oh man, just like a sore or strep throat, I have not had that for a long time! a really long time! I went back for a nap time at about 930 am. What a refreshing naptime for me! Then later today, my body got so sore especially in the area where they did surgery on. Whew. But the End to my Road to Recovery is almost here. Patience!!

Thanks for those who shared their sympathy and concerns. I apprecaite it!'

With lots of Love, Annie

Recovery

RECOVERY ---

Annie is getting better from the surgery of D&C. She went to the University Hospital yesterday morning. She did lose her baby. The family are doing well. Anne is very calm and acceptable. The baby had died already but somehow hasn't "come" out which eventually causing Annie her illness. The baby was there for a while until the doctor cleaned the baby out for more testing (genetics). Now Annie is doing well! Just very sore especially with the throat form having tubes in!

The boys are doing great. They are getting handful. Nick is being involved with Scouts and Theatre. Parker went back to school at HeadStart. Been coming home early everyday. Luke is getting big and very curious just like Curious George!
