Nick's 10th Birthday!

Can you guys believe it?! Nick just celebrated his 10th Birthday!!

Wow! 10 years ago today after Mommy (Annie) had a hard labor from being sick with pre-elampsia and Nick barely survived when Mommy has to have an emergency Cesarean surgery (C-Section). Whew! He was only 4 pounds & 10 oz. He was like the size of a 2-litre soda pop bottle! Really! Now he is 5 feet & 10 inches! EEEKKK!! And now over 95 lbs! Everytime he walk over to me to give me a 'hug' almost all time, I tumbled! Because he was so tall and so huge not like the day he was born!

I am so proud of him, with alot of accomplishments and just finishing 4th Grade! The proudest we are is when he is so happy doing what he loves to do, acting and singing even signing! Throughout the years, he is improving his signing skills and using them more and more than when he was young. I learned from a good deaf friend that they have had a 'survey/experiment' that boys tend to use 'sign language' later age than when they were 'growing' up.

We had a blast having a dinner party with my family (the Post family) and Nick was so excited especially to open his gifts. You would be seeing the pics here! He got some really cool and hip clothes, CDs (some from us, Grandma and Grandpa, & some 'burned' cds from Kellie) and of course, he got new Power Rangers Jungle Fury toys and what he really wants, a Golden Compass videogame. He literally screamed his head off! Wow!

We had some cake and ice cream. it was really good and nice to celebrate!

However, we have 'one' more to celebrate Nick's birthday - tomorrow with Mike's family. I will update then and let you guys know.

Take care and love ya all! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! School is almost out, and summer will be here faster!!

Wallyball Tournament

Howdy! My! What a day at the tournament that Utah Schools for the Deaf (USD) Alumni Reunion 2009 committee hosted yesterday! It was really fun and pretty successful! Just happened on a day where there are other activities going on in the Deaf Community. We will hopefully host another one next winter in 2009 (maybe in February). The people who came to watch and play had a blast! Including me! But whew, I am so worn out and so sore!! Some of my body parts are so worn out! Whew!

Mike is doing good, been really busy at work, getting more jobs to do (new responsibilities, I am so proud of him!!), the boys are getting handful and guess what? Nick just excelled at the performance with Up with Kids!

More of that will come! He is so good and we are so proud of our 'little' actor in the family!

Parker is doing good, playing soccer and being himself, getting taller and smarter and very good and helpful! Baby Lucas is getting handful now! Even not yet at 18 months old, already at the stage of 'Terrible Twos'. I think he started that few months ago already. Funny little guy, starting to say 'Sorry or I'm Sorry' for no apparent reason but so cute! He is very independent, oh my! Whew, keeping me so busy!!

Well now it is almost 2 and half weeks left of school! Yeah.... summer is almost here and I hope I will have plenty of activities planned for the summer :) .

Have a wonderful evening! Take care!

Hope those moms had a wonderful day on the Mother's Day a while ago... Happy 'belated' Mother's Day!
