Lagoon Day!

Howdy Gals & Guys! We just got home and now are so pooped out! I am working on this Blog while the boys are asleep! Baby Lucas is not yet home as he was with my parents up in Heber for the Demolition Derby.

Mike, Nick, Parker & I went to Lagoon. Mike got tickets from work that we can use anytime this year. Today was the UAD Deaf Friendship Day as well. But oh man! It was way HOT! I think over 100 degrees. I have sunburn to prove! :) we got there right before it opened, and all of us brisked over to the newest ride at Lagoon Park "WICKED", oh man! Hilarous and fun! Parker was willing to go on rides, but after WICKED, he refused to go on 'any big rides', same with Nick. He was willing to go one some. But not all of them. We went on and rode the Colossus after. Parker sat this out. Then we all went all different bunch of rides. Parker was thrilled to get to go on kids rides. Nice thing is that we are able to go on some of them with Parker as well! :)

We went to Lagoon-A-Beach to cool off. BUT oh man, toes and feet so sore! Really rough and hard floors/grounds to walk on! I have cracks to prove it!

I wished I can post some pics but we were unable to take pics as there were so many things to do and I had to put the bag in a locker for the day because most of the zippers broke :(

But it was fun! And tiring too!

I noticed Lagoon is more 'rough' and 'less friendly' than Disneyland. If we were given choices to go either Lagoon or Disneyland, I will outright choose Disneyland!

Have a wonderful weekend! It will surely be a really 'hot' weekend with hot degrees and some 't-storms' as well!

Animal Planet Event

Hey guys/gals.... Nick, Parker, Lucas and I went to Liberty Park for the Animal Planet Expo event. It was a blast. We walked around learning about animals, even with pets. There were plenty of activities to do around. Nick went on the 'Spider Mountain', he 'raced' with 2 other kids, he got to the top and 'won 1st place!' Parker wanted to go but he was too young. Bummer. But he got to go on some slides. Pics will come. Then we went with Heather, Ron and Ashton to the Tracy Aviary to look at birds, we didn't get to see alot but plan to go back again. We saw really neat birds there. Then after that, we got hungry, we went to sit and ate with the Maceys and after that, there were a 'wading' pool that allow kids and adults to wade in with cool waters even play in them. Just perfect, its up to my knees in some areas. It was a blast. The boys had a wonderful time and we all got really tired and of course HOT! Then we went and grab some good deals at Sonic for its '2-4 pm 1/2 price deal'. I had really cold Dr Pepper (my fave!), Nick had the same one as well and Parker had 'Godzilla' (Grape) Slush! Ahhh.. then we came home and had a celebration with the Posts family for my dad's birthday. Yep another year for him!

More pics will come. Please check out our 'Animal Planet' Pic with Jeff Corwin, we actually 'pet' the tiger! Really! (Gotcha :) )....

Boys being Boys

Just wanna share some pics that the boys were being weird and just being boys. You would see Lucas playing in the laundry basket that he found in his bedroom; Parker with the 'mohawk' and also Lucas who supposed to have a mohawk too but it got too curly; all three boys together (note that different heights - but Lucas was sitting down...) and also Nick playing videogame and wouldn't look at me but he sure looked pale - he is actually sick with a sore throat - he will have his tonsils remove later this summer (ouch!)... so enjoy :)

4th of July 'part b'....

Howdy guys! This is from my own camera that I used to take pics (the one from before is from Nick's camera which he took alot himself.....).... enjoy... :)

These pics are all the Guys and Gals that made yummy breakfast for our 4th of July Brunch! (Kurt - Katie's hubby; my Dad; Melissa or Sissy & Kellie)

4th of July Celebration

Howdy y'all!!

Hope y'all had a blast last Friday for the 4th of July. We sure did!

We had yummy brunch with my family (The Post Family) and then we had a 'surprise' from my dad. He made us outside and got all of us wet with water hose, then we had a huge waterfight. My mom came outside with cameras and made sure we won't get her wet as she didn't want to get cameras wet, then went back inside until came outside thinking she can fool us by picking up something from outside, my sisters (Katie, Kellie and Kristie) went and surprised my mom getting wet! Then all of us got really wet, even Parker didn't like it and came outside 2nd time with 'garbage bag' over himself (funny!)...Mike didn't get to be involved as he wasn't home due to overtime scheduled at work, but came home near the end of the waterfight, few times he teased us and dared Nick to get his 'butt' wet...teehee!

Then we went and saw "Wall-E" at Megaplex 20 - the District. We enjoyed the movie alot! It was nice that we can watched it with our boys by reading Rear Reading to read what they are saying. It was fun!

Then we came home and had hot dogs with my Post family again and hanging out. Then we went with my parents to go to Sandy City for the fireworks celebration. First we went and walked around the fields as there are booths adn all that.. we saw several old neighbor friends. Then we went back where we parked our cars, and sat on the grass nearby. Due to the 'new' building near Sandy City Hall, they had to move the fireworks up north a little, so from where we sat, we watched the fireworks really upclose! Literally! It was fun! Then we all came home and all of us went to bed and getting so tired!!

We had some pics to share. But I am still struggling with the pics process to included slideshow. Be patience!

Thanks! :)
Have a wonderful month of freedom!
